It was Nancy’s “fault” in the first place when she suggested we take a pottery class together so many years ago during a bike ride. And look at me now… collecting pottery & making a LOT of pottery too!!!

You gotta love when friends drop-off Christmas gifts and they’re perfect for you!!! I mean… isn’t everything better when it’s covered in fudge?!!! Thank you Tracy… you know me too well.

Gotta love when a pottery student leaves a sweet chocolate treat in your teacher’s shelf for you… an AMAZING chocolate & peppermint holiday cookie from Levain Bakery. And since I “always” follow directions (ha)… I did zap it in the microwave first so it got all gooey, melt & yummy. Even the smell was intoxicating!

Sure, not the proverbial apple on the teacher’s desk… but this is SO much better!!! Thanks for the yummy holiday treat Christine!

Christmas is coming… and hopefully today was my last trip to the “pottery” Post Office. Final pottery shipments are on their way for the holidays. Thanks to everyone who purchased online… or contacted me directly for some special orders & “secret” shopping! Hopefully your pottery will arrive in time & in one piece… to bringing joy to everyone on the other end!!!

Looks like Matthew has been busy picking out pomegranate seeds! Beautiful color & shiny texture in a green stamped bowl. Personally, I’ve never quite figured out the “allure” of the whole pomegranate seed thing… but they sure are pretty! Thanks for sharing Matthew’s hard work Kristy!

One of the down-sides to packing & shipping pottery is the fear of breaking something that a customer has already paid for while packing it! Luckily, knock on wood… that has not happened yet. However… this time the mug NEXT TO the purchased mug was the one that went down!!! ugh.

On an up-side…. we can now see the inside if a mug?
I guess my wall thickness looks pretty thin & even?!
