It’s survival of the fittest…
just a little determination & perseverance needed when nature meets concrete!!!

This week I’m teaching a Wheelthrowing Summer Camp with a bunch of teenage girls! They’re all doing a great job & have already made a LOT of pots!!! Not bad for two days of camp… for today we switch to trimming, handles & detailing… and editing their “collections” keeping only the “good” ones! And who knows… there may even be a stamp or two used tomorrow?!

Just because Lillstreet has no water & no classes tonight… didn’t mean I couldn’t get some stamping done in my studio tonight! No water needed for stamping… and it was a great “surprise” chance to put in a few hours working, instead of teaching! Sure, I missed my students… but I do LOVE stamping!!!

After a broken water main situation in a building near Lillstreet, the water has been turned off completely! So no classes tonight!!! Hopefully back to normal in the morning for Summer Camp!

And here I “rushed” through throwing a bunch of bowls!!!
WHEW!!!… A bunch of mini bowls thrown & ready to be covered with plastic for the night. I wouldn’t want them to dry out tonight while I teach my class.

After summer camp, but before teaching tonight… and I think I can crank out a quick batch of mini bowls. Fingers crossed…

The latest blooming “addition” in my garden… loving the color, the polka dots & the graceful curls!

Celebrating NATIONAL PLANNER DAY today… as you know how I love a good plan, a calendar, a deadline… and kinda poking fun at those who don’t. HA!!!

Dark & cloudy… kinda moody. I had hopes of the clouds lighting up in full color as I pedaled along the lakefront. But alas, it never happened… just a fun reflection before the sun went back behind the clouds. Pedaled home just as a bit of rainy drizzle set in.
