Gotta love getting those perfect spirals when trimming…
especially with my DiamondCore Tools trimming tool.

Just a little early morning stamping in the studio!
Some sweet little bowls… now even sweeter with some textured patterns!

More than ten pieces thrown before 10:00am… this time more wheelthrown holiday ornaments!!! Cute little “finial” ornaments thrown off-the-hump!

Tonight’s pottery class was full of tricks & treats! I brought the Halloween “Boo” OREOs… especially intrigued by the “glow in the dark” note in the corner. I sure hope they meant the packaging, and not the OREOs?!!!

We also had tiramisu & vanilla remix OREOs from the Netherlands & cinnamon bun OREOs from Canada! Thanks to Allison & Andrew for the imported cookies!!!

All stamped for some fun textural surface decoration. Fun places for the glaze to play with when they eventually get fired… in time for my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW!!!

Getting ready to add some stamped textures & patterns on these mugs! But the real question is “which” of the stamps should I use??? Too many choices as I have literally hundreds… maybe even thousands?.. of my own handmade stamps!!!

Categories: rusty, textures

You know how much I love rusty metal…
so this is PERFECT for another Texture Tuesday!!!

Categories: flower pots, friends, pumpkins

My friend Kristen finally got around to decorating for the holiday… or maybe more for the “season”??? Either way, my pumpkins with her handmade carved flowerpot look pretty great together!!! Festive yet reserved… just like my friend Kristen!!!

I spy with my little eye… somewhere deep in the lush greenery, I see one of my wheelthrown ornaments. While most people use them for Christmas trees… looks like Cheryl enjoys hers year-round when it’s hanging on her outdoor pergola. Even more amazing when it is being engulfed by some beautiful purple hyacinth bean vines!!! Thanks for showing off your garden Cheryl.
