Looks like Tracy’s festive display has grown with new additions to her “forest” of ceramic Christmas trees. A sweet grouping for a cold Winter’s night. You can add-on or start your own “forest” of trees this weekend at my place!!!

And if there are some left after this weekend’s SECOND HOLIDAY HOME SHOW, I might try to pull together a quickie online sale here on my Facebook page either Monday or Tuesday?! Fingers crossed… more to come…

Another class demo piece “finally” getting glazed. Carved decorations around the flange rim on this dinner plate. Going into the kiln… and coming out just in time for this weekend’s SECOND HOLIDAY HOME SHOW! Hope it turns out okay?!

Here’s one of my class demos on carving & surface decoration that I finally got around to glazing… been a while. The platter has white slip on the flange rim that I dried a bit before carving the leaf pattern. And then I added little “berries” using a darker clay body. A rich green glaze makes it perfect for the holidays! Kinda now wish I had carved holly leaves instead?… ah, next time!!!

Anyway… this platter will be there for one lucky customer this weekend
at my SECOND HOLIDAY HOME SHOW!!!

Mental note to self… don’t wipe the underside of a kiln shelf with your bare hand. You never know what the person before you in the kiln may have left behind!!!

Second note… buy more band-aids!
