Celebrating another Mugshot Monday with a splash of color! As someone who does not drink coffee or tea, I don’t use many mugs. Ironically, the mug is my all-time favorite thing to make… and I make a LOT of them! So for those non-caffeine drinkers… mugs make great vases too!
Fresh from a bisque firing… a pile of cutie-patootie mini vases! Waiting for some glaze… in the stamps & inside the vases. Just getting ready for my upcoming soda firing!!!
After a trip to the Andersonville Farmer’s Market on Wednesday, this collection of beautiful dahlias is now looking quite comfortable in one of my stamped & soda-fired oval vases. Beautiful blooms from Vangie’s Farm… including crazy cool & crazy huge curly burgundy dahlia! Perfect for a beautiful Floral Friday!
Celebrating another Floral Friday with a nice hydrangea centerpiece in one of my ikebana flower vases. Thanks for sharing your flowers Heather!
Hanging out in the studio tonight painting colored flashing slip accents on a bunch of mini’s… and watching the Olympic Opening Ceremonies in Paris! The pomp & circumstance… the performances… the theatricality of it all… oh, and the athletes too.
The Opening Ceremonies are always my favorite part of The Olympics…
what are you looking forward to most???
Celebrating another Floral Friday… with my Glenview art fair booth flowers from last weekend that are still holding up really well. And looking great in an oval vase that “spreads them out” a bit more so you can see more flowers!!!
Little tiny pots need little tiny stamps, right???
I mean, just because they’re smaller doesn’t mean they should go unadorned!!!
That would just be wrong…
With just a “LITTLE” time between summer camp & teaching my beginning wheel class tonight, I thought it would be the perfect time to throw a bunch of “LITTLE” pots!
My cousin Kim was outside enjoying her garden… and decided to take a few blooms to enjoy inside as well. Good thing she had one of my flat textured ikebana vases to put them in… using the small pin frog inside to prop-up the flowers! Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden Kim!
