Looks like someone’s succulent garden got a little upgrade… a stamped & soda-fired wall pocket vase purchased during the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival. I’m sure they will love their new home & be thriving in no time!!!

We’re a few days after the Hinsdale Art Fair… and my booth display flowers are STILL hanging in there! Looking good in their stamped & soda-fired vase!

What a wonderful weekend we just had at the HINSDALE FINE ARTS FESTIVAL! The weather was amazing for both days… sunny, breezy & perfect under the shade tree by my booth! Huge THANKS to everyone who came out to visit, do a little shopping, or just to enjoy the outdoors! I sent a lot of pottery off to their forever homes… and saw a lot of smiling faces of friends old & new! So nice to finally see people actually smiling again… and not just squinting over their masks! Thanks again… it was the perfect way to kick-off my art fair season!

Okay, I finally focused long enough to get my booth all put back together & re-stocked for Day Two of the HINSDALE FINE ARTS FESTIVAL. We’re open from 10:00am-5:00pm in Burlington Park in downtown Hinsdale. I’m ready for ya’ in Booth #69… bring it on!!!

Still prepping… still packing for the Hinsdale Fine Art Fair!!! Currently working on some new ikebana flower vases. A simple & clever way to display just a few flowers and yet make a sweet floral statement. There’s a water reservoir and a pin frog under the ceramic disc… kinda “framing” the flowers while allowing them to stand gracefully above the center!

A few oval vases glazed & ready for soda-firing… just need some wadding! I think these might be the last pieces to be glazed… getting ready to start loading soon.

Looks like three of my textured square vases have found the PERFECT location! They look perfect there… almost as though they were designed to fit in that space with beautiful flowers! Just perfect Patti… thanks for sharing!

The lilacs are starting to bloom with beautiful colors & wonderful fragrance. Beautiful flowers need to be shown off… and maybe a handmade vase would be the right choice?!!!
