So here’s the big ONLINE reveal… Werewolves fresh from the kiln
and going straight to Barrington for ART IN THE BARN.
The newest addition to The Ghouls Collection!

Some cute & clean, while others have obviously been “snacking” on something!!!
Each with its own personality! A limited edition of forty werewolves to mix & mingle
with all of the Ghouls who went before!!!

So here’s the Wolf Pack after firing… just one shelf full of crazy canis lupus!
More shelves & more werewolves below. Cooling…
soon to descend upon the folks at ART IN THE BARN!!!

So now the newest GHOULS are all underglazed and getting a sprayed-on top-coat of a low-fire clear glaze. Hoping that all of the painted colors will be brighter, saturated & whimsically colorful after firing!

The newest addition to THE GHOULS COLLECTION look so much more “ferocious” in color! Okay, so maybe still a bit fun & whimsical… but that’s just how I roll.

Is there such a thing as “cute” bloody fangs???

LIMITED EDITION: One down, thirty-nine to go!

Playing with terra cotta trying to crank out some new Ghouls to add to the collection. There will only be forty in this batch… which also means I need to do a lot of underglaze painting to give these creepy canines some color! Coming together… gotta start underglazing!

So it looks like the “pack” is coming together as a group.
Just in time for this weekend’s Full Moon rising…. the actual Full Moon is on Monday!
Looks like my Ghoul timing is pretty spot-on!!!

Every year I make a new Halloween Ghoul that debuts at ART IN THE BARN!!!
I make a Limited Edition of forty… and when they’re gone, they’re gone!
I’ve been working extra hard in the studio and “keeping them under wraps”…
both literally and figuratively. Lots of steps to get done before the Big Reveal
this weekend in Barrington!
