My little army of forty Red Devils is coming along nicely… all sprayed with a couple different colors of underglaze. Next up… some more colors to make them really come alive!

They’re getting their RED on!!!

I’ve been having a devilishly good time assembling the latest addition to THE GHOULS COLLECTION this week. Many late hours in the studio trying to get them all ready for their big debut at ART IN THE BARN this weekend. Looks like they’re all good with horns, ears & quirky faces. Time to add some color… quickly!!!

There’s a whole lotta scoring & slipping going on as I continue to add details to the latest addition to The Ghouls Collection. Getting cuter & cuter with every piece I add on!!! Just hope they all get done in time for ART IN THE BARN?!!!

Made some good progress on the newest Ghoul today.
Still have a LONG ways to go… but for now, they’re under wraps for the night!

One of the best parts of throwing forty “Ghoul Heads” in one day… is that by the time you get to the end, it’s already time to start trimming the bottoms of the first ones! It’s been a VERY productive day in the studio… and it kinda had to be. Deadlines approaching quickly!!!

Next weekend is ART IN THE BARN… after a long year’s hiatus… so it’s time to introduce a new member into The Ghouls Collection!

Giddy-up Ghouls!!!

The newest pumpkin harvest is coming together nicely… with happy faces smiling back at me! Hoping to get them all painted, glazed & fired before next weekend’s ART IN THE BARN!

Starting out the morning with clean reclaim buckets… as Nate volunteered to press all of the dried reclaim terra cotta through the grate on top… as intended. I love when my Summer Campers just start volunteering to do projects around the studio making it a better place for everyone. As though they’re part of the community. Taking one for the team. Now if we could just get some more of the adult students to follow Nate’s lead… wouldn’t THAT be great?!

Today was the final day of my week-long SCULPTURE CAMP. My campers were great, and worked so hard all week… okay, so there may have been a few “diversions” along the way… but all in all they did a great job! Their terra cotta birdhouses came out of the kiln just in time for today’s Gallery Show… and they looked AMAZING!!!
