Low flying clouds and bit of morning fog gave my morning ride a very moody feel. Warm and hazy until the sun finally peeked over to greet the day.

Low flying clouds and bit of morning fog gave my morning ride a very moody feel. Warm and hazy until the sun finally peeked over to greet the day.

Big sky. Big clouds. Big skyline… and a great parking spot right by the Lake!

With only six days until Fall, it finally feels like Summer. Go figure. With a short “heatwave” going on, it feels great to finally have warm mornings again. Beautiful sunrise, fewer clothing layers and more sweat!!! All good. Welcome back Summer!!!

Clear skies. Calm water. Looks like the clouds of yesterday have moved out and we’re now looking at a beautiful forecast for the weekend to come… which also means a LOT more biking to come too!!!

Big clouds covering the sunrise this morning…
so big that they need a panoramic shot to capture the morning drama.

My that’s a big cloud in the way of the sun this morning.
You know there’s a beautiful sunrise lurking back there somewhere!

After an “exhilarating & exhausting” couple days of “Sherpa-ing & spectating” in Madison this weekend, it felt great to get back on my bike to pedal this morning. Great clouds, Incredible colors. Another beautiful sunrise!!!

Clear skies. Beautiful colors. Nice silhouettes.
And quite a few waves crashing over the banks and up onto the bike trail.
A beautiful sunrise ride before heading up to Madison
for what will be a very exciting weekend!

Another dark & cloudy morning. Still a bit chilly…
but at least I was better prepared with an extra layer & wool socks!

And the sun GONE behind the clouds almost as fast as it “appeared.”
