Dramatic clouds to kick-off the morning. With great potential for some stunning sunrise colors to come… and there was no disappointment. Mother Nature pulled out a great one this morning!

Another warm start to the day. With clouds spanning the sky, I had grand hopes for a sunrise spectacle. It was good, but not great… the clouds were beautifully colored, but then it kinda felt like it fizzled out a bit?! But the bike ride was still GREAT!!! Maybe I’m just getting jaded?… or maybe a sunrise snob???

After two full days of standing around working at the art fair, it felt GREAT to be back in the saddle this morning. The sunrise started slow, but sure ended with a bang!!!

Sweeping sunrise colors across the lakefront & skyline.

Another sweaty morning as this little summer “heatwave” continues to hang on.
And I’m all for it… keep Summer going!!! I’m not ready for Fall yet.
Even though TODAY is officially the first day of Fall.

It’s going to be a warm one today! Even in the early morning hours before the sunrise, my ride was already warm & sweaty. Beautiful clouds drifting across the sky for another beautiful summer day.

Low flying clouds and bit of morning fog gave my morning ride a very moody feel. Warm and hazy until the sun finally peeked over to greet the day.

Big sky. Big clouds. Big skyline… and a great parking spot right by the Lake!
