Another quiet morning along the lakefront.
Calming clouds with a cool breeze sweeping through.

After yesterday’s stunning weather, and a prediction for morning rain, I woke up with low expectations. I did pedal though a few rain sprinkles… but well worth it with a sunrise like this! And as it turned out… another beautiful day!

It was another clear & warm morning ride to kick-off a good Cinco de Mayo!
Spring is finally HERE!!!… and it seems like it might be here for good this time??
Fingers crossed.

Welcome to May… and welcome to warm weather! Finally. It was such a pleasant morning along the lake without all of the layers of clothing I’ve gotten accustomed to! Cherish it now… as it could change in a heartbeat here in Chicago!

With a large cloud sweeping across the sky, a sliver of color early on led to a sweeping sunrise sky show. Still a bit chilly with a breeze coming in off the Lake… yet SO encouraging that Spring may actually be here soon!!!

A beautiful start to the morning. Gorgeous color playing low on the horizon as the clouds continued to roll in. A great way to start the day… before the sun disappeared for the remainder of the day!

Calm & serene with low flying clouds on the horizon delayed the morning sunrise. Not the most spectacular view and a bit breezy, but it sure did feel great to be out on my bike with a hint of Spring weather on the way. .. finally?

No foolin’… it was a bit chilly this morning with a cool breezy blowing in off the lake.
A nice sunrise and a beautiful way to kick-off April.

We may have lost an hour of sleep overnight, but I’m back on schedule and caught another beautiful sunrise this morning… albeit cold with a wind blowing in off the lake.
