Beautiful biking along the Lake with some AMAZING icicles along the water’s edge. I love how so many of the icicles are hanging like fringe on angles from being frozen during chilling winds off the Lake.

Another beautiful morning along the Lakefront…
albeit a bit cloudy & chilly. Downright frozen in some spots.
Luckily the streets and bike trail were all dry & clear… safe pedaling!!!

Loving that we’re less than a week till Christmas.. and I’m still pedaling morning sunrises with no SNOW!!! I’m sure this “gift” from Mother Nature is bound to end at some point… but until then… PEDAL ON!!!

What better way to start MUD & METAL Day Two than with a pre-show bike ride
along the Lake?! Amazing amounts of fog & frost abound… probably not the safest time
to be riding in the dark, but it sure what gorgeous!!! And when the sun finally made
its way through…. it got even gorgeous-ER!!!

After a stretch of below-freezing mornings, today felt a bit warmer… albeit WINDY-ER!!! Not much of a sunrise to speak of, but it still felt great to be outside playing along the lakefront. At least until the final surprise… drizzling rain for the final mile!!! Great. Just great.

After a day with too much turkey & “never-enough” pie…
it felt great to be back on my bike this morning to work off some of the “damage” I did yesterday. Yummy… but still.

Cloudy & cold with a brisk breeze off the Lake. Not much of a sunrise but for an instant when it peeked through the clouds. Thankful that the morning miles allow me to eat another piece of pie today… but not thankful for the flat tire I had along the way!

When I left my place, the streets were clear & dry. By the time I made it to the lakefront there were flurries. And by the time I was downtown… a full layer of snow. Guess that’s what the call “lake effect snow”??? Pedal slow. Try not to slide. Try not to freeze.

Kickin’ off Day Two of the HOLIDAY HOME SHOW with a little pre-show bike ride. Not much of a sunrise… just LOTS of clouds and a few flurries. Luckily there was a little glimmer of holiday cheer with some red & green lights in the harbor.

A chilly & cloudy morning. I thought there was good sunrise potential…
but that low-flying big cloud thought otherwise!
