The clear blue skies from the weekend were gone, as the clouds had definitely moved in this morning. Lots of drama & lots of potential for a great sunrise… but the timing just didn’t quite work. Too much cloud, not enough sun.

The clear blue skies from the weekend were gone, as the clouds had definitely moved in this morning. Lots of drama & lots of potential for a great sunrise… but the timing just didn’t quite work. Too much cloud, not enough sun.

Sure, this morning was pretty albeit a bit cloudy, wet & damp… but yesterday was STUNNING!!! With a kinda crazy half & half cloud thing going on for some pretty dramatic photos!

And if that first panorama shot was “pretty”…
a couple minutes later it was STUNNING!!! Big sunrises need big photos!!!
Enjoy... I know I sure did.

Big sky shows sometimes require a panoramic shot…
showing the clouds moving in and blowing across the horizon!

Another beautiful morning ride along the lakefront… enjoying the warm weather once again, the beautiful clouds moving in, the splash of sunrise colors… and the crazy headwinds!!! Okay, three out of four ain’t bad.

With a forecast for more rain & snow tomorrow… it sure felt great to squeeze in
a beautiful sunrise ride this morning before “the bad weather” hits us!!!
Snow?… really?! It’s mid-APRIL!!!!… in case anyone is wondering!

And yes, for the record… it is VERY DARK when I start out on the morning bike ride…

After yesterday’s crazy-cool-cloud-show… today was quite the opposite.
Not a cloud to be found – just clear skies & great pedaling!!!

After yesterday’s crazy-cool thunderstorm rolling through, I was kind of surprised
by how warm & humid it was this morning… and in a good way!!!
It finally feels like SPRING is HERE!!!

Clear skies this morning… warmer with less of that chilling wind.
Spring is definitely working its way towards us… as is BIKING SEASON!!!
And I can’t wait! to shed all of these Winter layers!!

Another beautiful morning that felt as though Spring might actually be here… kinda…
if it weren’t for that brisk headwind the whole way home!!!
