Another warm & beautiful morning. Wonderful colors working their way across the sky… with a few clouds dotting the horizon, and one larger cloud blowing in above them!

And yes, the lake water level is still a lot higher than it should be…
as seen by the ladders & walkways that seem to be floating out in the middle of the lake!!!

Warm & quiet with a LOT of clouds this morning!!! Luckily the clouds were in all the right places for a very dramatic sunrise reveal…. except for that one crazy cloud wafting through the city’s skyline early on this morning?!

Another glorious morning! This time with a few more clouds for the sunrise to play with!

After a crazy busy “weekend adventure”…
it felt great to get back on my bike yesterday & back to the quiet tranquility
of the Chicago lakefront.

Well, it’s been a crazy busy week both mentally & physically with SO much going on both good & bad. But I’m finally back in town… and trying to get back on a “new-normal” routine of some sort. So here’s me trying to get caught up… with a beautiful sunrise from last week when the wind was blowing, the waves were crashing and North Avenue Beach was flooded!!!

Crazy winds & crazy waves this morning! Not quite the beautiful sunrise we’ve gotten used to this week… but still great fun playing along the lakefront early this morning before the temps soar back up!!! Guess I picked the wrong day to “start” my swim training?! Maybe I’ll start tomorrow?… or not. Ha!!!

After a wonderful string of beautiful sunrises, we knew that it had come to an end at some point. But maybe not quite yet today. While today was another hot & steamy ride, the beautiful colors were fleeting… stunning at first, then pastoral & serene… before the gray clouds moved and the sunrise was blocked and back then to gray… and still SWEATY!!!
