Clear skies & clear sailing. Not a cloud in the sky this morning.
A little warm. A little humid. But still a LOT of fun!

Clear skies & clear sailing. Not a cloud in the sky this morning.
A little warm. A little humid. But still a LOT of fun!

Sunrise beauty early this morning.
Before the gray. Before the rain.

It was a warm & humid morning. Lots of clouds gently breezing across the sky…
and reflecting in the calm, rippled water. I loved then the reflections looked a bit
like a clouded sunrise Rorschach image!

And not to end on a dreary & cloudy note…
here’s a more impressive sunrise from Friday morning down on Navy Pier.
Beautiful clouds, colors & silhouettes down on The Pier.

Woke up this morning to lightning, thunder & rain… oh my!
So no sunrise ride this morning. But I figure it’s a good chance to share a cloudy morning ride from last Thursday. Kinda what I envisioned as I rolled over to go back to sleep!

This morning was kind of magical. A quiet moment with a stunning sunrise before the crowds infiltrate the lakefront for this weekend’s Air & Water Show. Not my favorite… but loving that I can see this beauty before the crazy begins!!!

Not a lot of clouds this morning… but enough for some color to splash across the sky.
Also a lot of geese hanging out at Montrose Beach.
A perfect resting spot on the still-flooded-beach!

Beautiful sunrise reflections on a day that is sure to be filled
with even more beautiful reflections of Mom.

A quiet start. Solemn. Serene.
A perfect sunrise for the long day ahead.

Another warm & beautiful morning. Wonderful colors working their way across the sky… with a few clouds dotting the horizon, and one larger cloud blowing in above them!

And yes, the lake water level is still a lot higher than it should be…
as seen by the ladders & walkways that seem to be floating out in the middle of the lake!!!
