After nearly two weeks of completely gray skies, it was wonderful this morning to finally see the sun… even if it was just a start as the clouds seemed to be moving in… and winning!

After nearly two weeks of completely gray skies, it was wonderful this morning to finally see the sun… even if it was just a start as the clouds seemed to be moving in… and winning!

It was a beautiful sunrise this morning… and I just LOVE that some of my wonderful “followers” thinks of ME when they see a beautiful sunrise. Ha!!! So much so that they sent me a photo of the view from their window… with one of my flower pots waiting for the sun to come up further to make that plant even happier!
Thank you Sheila for sharing your view this morning!

Chilly & cloudy, but well worth it. The clouds put on a dramatic sky-show… so many changes as the clouds blew by with the gusty breezes. Wearing lots of layers is good, but my fingers were still freezing… but not enough to stop taking more pictures!

Rolling into the New Year with beautiful sunrise bike ride. Nothing too dramatic, but then again… it just felt good to be out there! Still some snow & icy patches out there… but with some extra caution & extra layers I was all good to go!!!

And who ever said that a panorama photo always has to be horizontal?…
… not me!

It’s a BIG holiday morning… with a BIG sunrise sky show…
so it only makes sense to have some BIG sunrise photos too!!!

What a wonderful way to kick-off Christmas Day with such an incredible present like this morning’s sunrise!!! I can’t remember the last time I had a chance to ride my bike early on Christmas morning… but so glad I could today. Mother Nature sure gave me a beautiful gift this morning!

Another beautiful morning riding along the lakefront. Hard to believe that Christmas is just a couple days away when the weather is this AMAZING!!! Guess I should start shopping soon… but c’mon… I’d rather be pedaling.

A beautifully chilly morning along the lakefront. Especially cool with the “slushy” water and an early-morning fog that made the path just a little slick. Still a wonderful way to start my day…. with plenty of layers!

Well, it’s been awhile since we’ve seen any sun in the morning lately! Its just been cloudy, cloudy, CLOUDY!!!… and gray! So I was excited today to finally get a sunrise to share… even if it only lasted a couple minutes… and then right back into gray nothingness!
