Humid & warm as I headed out the door this morning. Not much in the way of clouds… just a dense layer hanging low on the horizon.

Well, when I turned around & started riding home this morning, I was surprised to see a layer of damp fog hanging low over the golf course. See?… so it wasn’t just me. Here’s the humidity… making another crazy-cool sunrise moment along the lakefront this morning.

Another beautiful morning along the lakefront, although the humidity seems to have returned. I was kinda surprised when the sweat kicked-in… it’s been awhile since we’ve had such a humid morning?! Don’t care… I’m a great sweat-er!!! Just another part of my morning ritual.

Another morning with a good amount of clouds… but not such a good amount of color? I thought we might get a nice splash of color this morning… but instead, the sun popped out for a brief moment and then hid behind the clouds for the rest of my ride!

Yesterday we had a fleeting moment of sunrise… and the day seem to be fleeting by too as it was over before I knew it!!! But we had a sliver of sunrise color yesterday with good potential for more… but the clouds won out with some dramatic peek-thru’s along the way!

I don’t want this Summer to end!!! The weather this past couple weeks has been just AMAZING!!! A bit crisp in the morning, but stunning the rest of the day… sunny, warm but not hot, no humidity, slight breeze… what more could I ask for???

After a fun weekend of “standing around” all day at ART IN THE GARDEN… my muscles were happy to get back on the bike to work-out some kinks! A quiet morning without a lot of sunrise drama. Just clear skies with a cool breeze!

A beautiful albeit chilly ride this morning… long sleeves, gloves & 48-degrees!!!… brrrrr!!! But I was ready to pedal & get this day started. And now it’s back to the garden for Day Two of ART IN THE GARDEN in Glenview, Illinois!

Another crazy morning along the lakefront. With a pretty thick layer of clouds bumbling along the horizon… I knew we would have to wait for awhile for the sun to make an appearance. I wasn’t sure if it would break through & add some color to the clouds or not. But I was thrilled to see we had some crashing & splashing waves to “entertain us” while waiting for the sun!

Sometimes a bigger skyshow requires a bigger photo!
