Quiet & warm. Humid & still. Not a lot of clouds… but some nice reflections shimmering on the morning lake. Once again, a beautiful way to start the day… before I head back to the GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR for Day Two!!!

Quiet & warm. Humid & still. Not a lot of clouds… but some nice reflections shimmering on the morning lake. Once again, a beautiful way to start the day… before I head back to the GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR for Day Two!!!

Another hazy start to the day… or at least I had thought so. Apparently some of this haziness we’ve been experiencing for the past couple days is actually some residual “smoke” in the atmosphere from the wildfires out in Oregon!

Another hazy start to the morning…
this time with a little more shimmer towards the end.
Sunrise reflections on a very quiet lake.

Lazy hazy crazy day of Summer!
Not a lot of sunrise glory…
but more than enough gray “monochrome-ness” & humidity!!!

As the clouds continued to blow into the City, we eventually got a little smidge of a sunrise peeking out… and a pretty stiff headwind all the way home!

A bit on the cloudy side this morning. Lots of wispy clouds blowing through & shrouding the sun as it tried to peek through. Eventually, it made a valiant effort and found its way through the hazy clouds for a fun splash of reflection along the lakefront.

A beautiful start to the day… with one big cloud… hanging low, hovering on the horizon!!! Waiting & hoping for it to blow away just enough for the sun to make an appearance. We “kinda” got there… but nothing too special. I must admit I was kinda hoping for more!

Wispy clouds. Colorful splashes… with the lake churning & splashing too. A bit of a chill in the air this morning, but still a beautiful way to start the day!

Quiet & humid along the lake. Not a lot of sunrise color, just a few wispy clouds blowing through as we kick-off the first day of July!!!

Big sky drama over the lake calls for a big panoramic photo! From the colorful clouds to the Chicago skyline off in the hazy distance.
