Good to see that I’m not the only crazy one out there this early on a cloudy Friday morning!!! Some paddle on… while I continue to PEDAL ON!!!

After last night’s windy thunderstorm, it was great to see the clouds had moved through, the roads were relatively dry & the sunrise was getting back to normal. Better than yesterday’s… but still nothing too glamorous! Fingers crossed for tomorrow…

Another hazy, hot & humid morning along the lakefront. Trying to get some sunrise miles in before the heat really settles in for the day. Another “sweaty” sunrise shrouded in the clouds

A dark & cloudy start. Big clouds moving through… some with lightning way off in the distance.

As the morning moved on, so did the clouds as the sky began to clear and the sun finally made its way out… even if just for a brief moment or two.

A hazy start for another quiet morning ride. Biking along the lake with a foggy haze off in the distance… I’m sure there’s a sun in there somewhere?!

Hey… there it is… finally!!!

Another day, another sunrise… another “later than normal.” A quiet morning with a few big clouds, followed by some great shimmering reflections. A wonderful morning biking along the lakefront.
And yes, just in case you’re wondering, that is indeed a dog on a paddleboard being pulled by a swimmer in the morning sunrise.

Another beautiful ride, but with the sunrise getting later each day, I’m finding it a bit harder to post my sunrise photos each morning before I head off to Summer Camp?! So you may need to “suffer through” a few sunrise photos later in the day… if that’s okay by you?!

Generally not a “big fan” of getting solar flare spots in my sunrise photos. But then again, sometimes they can be quite beautiful. Like some this morning when there was so much misty spray in the winds that it was tough to keep my camera lens dry through the sunrise. And therefore… THIS happens!!! And I’m kinda okay with this one!!!

It sure was WINDY this morning!!! With strong breezes blowing in off the lake creating some crazy cool waves crashing in along the beaches! The first half was great fun as the wind was mostly at my back… but then you turn around & head back straight into the wind. Ugh. Never a good sign when the beach flags are flying straight out… and maybe a little upwards too!!!

This morning I woke to the sound of rain… and a Severe Thunderstorm Emergency Alert buzzer on my iPhone!!! YIKES!!!… kinda startling! So I rolled over and skipped my sunrise ride this morning. And instead decided to share these muted pastel photos from yesterday’s warm & sweaty sunrise ride!
