Another beautiful morning with a few clouds flying low on the horizon. It’s a little weird, but in the best way possible, getting re-acclimated to the warmer weather this week. I’m used to wearing several layers… but now it’s time to start peeling them off. I had on too many this morning… but wasn’t quite ready to peel them off quite yet. I’m not “crazy” like the three guys at the end!!!

The weather has definitely taken a turn for the better here in Chicago! After a stretch of cold, clouds & rain… we finally have a forecast for incredible warm Spring weather for the next week or so! And after firing inside all day yesterday… it felt great to start today outside on my bike!!! Good chance that will happen again later this afternoon… allegedly…

A cloudy start to the day… with one large cloud moving in from the north. I was hoping we might squeeze in a sunrise moment, but the cloud took over too soon! And it looks like the clouds may have won for the rest of the day?!

Another beautiful morning… more clouds & more colors! Sure, there was a bit more wind too, but well worth it when you get to pedal along the lakefront and watch THIS happen the whole time! Still the best way to start my day!

I’m celebrating the FIRST DAY OF SPRING with a beautiful sunrise bike ride. Finally, some blue skies & colorful clouds to brighten my morning. I’m tired of gray… I’m tired of Winter… and I am fully embracing Spring!!!

With a late start to today’s gallery show at Space 900, I had some extra time to enjoy the morning sunrise. Not the most stunning… I prefer more dramatic clouds… but still the best way to start the day.

A surprisingly warm start to the day for the middle of February… and I’m LOVING It!!! Not quite ready to peel off the layers, but we’re getting there!

After days & days of morning grayness, it was great to finally see some sunrise colors this morning over the lakefront. Still a little chilly, but encouraging that Spring might be on its way in the not-so-distant future?!

After a very long stretch of gray & gloomy mornings… feels like a month or more… it was great to FINALLY get a sunrise this morning worth sharing! The first “real” sunrise of 2023!!!

A bit chilly & a bit cloudy… but eventually the sunrise made its morning appearance. Lighting the sky with pastel colors, then a shock of sun… before going back to basic grayness…which might just be what we get for the rest of the day?!
