Pastel clouds wafting through the sky… a bit nicer today without the chilling breeze
along the lakefront. Another beautiful start to another beautiful day!

After what seems like “months” of gray cloudy days… and an extreme cold freeze before that… it was AMAZING to get outside this morning for another sunrise bike ride. Sure, there might have been a thick layer of frost… but who cares?! It was great to finally see the sun rise again!!!

It was so great to see a bit of sunshine early this morning… it’s been far too long!!!
Feels like weeks of gloomy gray days. I’m over it… and ready for Spring!!!

Starting a New Year… with a beautiful sunrise over Lake Michigan. So excited to see the sun as we look forward to a great year. Wishing you a year full of beautiful sunrises & bright sunny days… both realistically & metaphorically!

Clear skies with some crazy contrails this morning. Little breezy with some chilly fingers… mental note to self… get warmer gloves! I do believe that this morning was our first hard frost of Winter… and my fingers could tell!

And while we had a nice sunrise happening over the lake…
a quick look over the shoulder showed a beautiful full moon still hanging out to the West.

A beautiful start to another beautiful day. The water was choppy with a cold wind blowing in off the lake… but the sunrise was beautiful as the colored clouds made a nice backdrop for the skyline.

A little sunrise “present” this morning to start off my Christmas Day. It was great to finally NOT have a gray, rainy & overly clouded morning. It felt good to start my day with a nice bike ride… now bring on the Christmas treats & sweets!!!
