Big picture needed to see all of the fun in the sky this morning. Big cloud coming in!

Another dark morning. And there was one huge cloud on the horizon encroaching. Working its way towards where the sun is supposed to be popping up. I wasn’t sure which one would win out…

Turns out the cloud “allowed” the sunrise to have a sliver of space to show off!

This morning was cold. Literally freezing.
The thermometer said it was 30-degrees when I left home.
Cold enough for even more layers… and real winter gloves!
… glad I pulled some of my plants inside last night too.

At least there was sun this morning. So even though it was technically colder, it felt a smidge warmer than yesterday’s dark & gloomy sunless morning.

Freezing cold. Dark clouds. No chance of sun.
Summer is definitely over. Dang!

After a day of marathon recovery, I felt I was ready to hop back on my bike this morning. A great chance to work out a few kinks here & there. Felt great… and the sunrise was pretty darn spectacular too.

A stunning morning sunrise… until the clouds came in just before the sun actually came out!

The morning started with clear skies. but as I turned around to head home,
I saw that a bank of spotted clouds coming into view. Wouldn’t it be nice
if they made it in time for the rising sun to hit them?!

And the spotted clouds started to seep into place…

After a little waiting, the spotted clouds made it into view… and into the sunrise!

After an incredible cloudy sky show yesterday morning… today was quite different.

This morning had clouds. Lots of clouds. Layers of clouds.

Those layers were slow starting.
But once they started lighting up… they were magical.

And with a morning temperature of 64 degrees…
I had to pile on a few extra layers as well… Jacket. Hat. Pants. Gloves. Etc.
I guess Summer is officially over…. brrrrr…
