Beautifully dramatic colors this morning. Rich, saturated hues. Layers of color.

And now, here it is…. you’ve waited for it… the “perfect’ panorama!!!

Sure, it looks clam enough. Maybe some clouds, but pretty calm.
Not so much.

And where there are small splashes, there are usually larger splashed right behind!!!

The trick is trying to capture… so I played with my camera INSTEAD of swimming this morning. Wise choice, huh?

And when the sun finally came up, it made the waves really sparkle!

And the “perfect” splash…

And then we also had possibly the “perfect” sunrise too…

The reign of rainy mornings has finally come to an end.
And it felt great to get back outside this morning.
The sky was clear and the temperature a little cooler than normal.

This morning had a lot of clouds sweeping across the sky. Great potential for a fine sunrise. My plan was to ride down, do a TRI-training swim, and then ride back. But the waves were crashing more than expected. So in the category of “decisions my Mom would be proud of,” I chose to skip swimming, and instead went home and added on a 3-mile run instead.

Double the fun. Double the photos. Double the size.

This morning’s sunrise fanned across the sky. The clouds seemed to “ripple” at certain times as the colors changed gradually while the clouds continued to move along.
