With a lot of clouds in the morning sky, it was a question of whether the sun would make it through or not. Luckily, it found a small window of opportunity. And we got a nice sunrise… before it disappeared again for the rest of the day.
Towards the end of the sunrise, I found another beautiful crab apple tree…
made a nice silhouette photos, as well as some beautiful floral shots with a nice morning glow.
With some big clouds moving around, there was a nice window of opportunity for a beautiful sunrise this morning.
And a few dandelions here & there glistening with morning dew.
All too soon, that one large cloud moved in… ready to take over the morning sky.
With the sun pretty much obliterated by the large cloud, I was pleased when it broke through just long enough to highlight these spring leaves & flowers.
And just when I thought the sunrise beauty was over…
sun rays came streaming through the clouds. Gorgeous.
Sure this morning was a downpour… so I rolled over and went back to sleep.
But yesterday… the clouds were rolling through and “threatening” rain. I dodged the majority of it, but felt a couple sprinkles. I especially love when you can actually see the rain falling from the clouds… and it’s NOT on me!!!
After the sprinkles… after the rain… the clouds were still lingering blocking
any chance of a real sunrise. Instead we got wonderful drama!
Headed south this morning I was flying.
So quiet. So fast. Feeling strong.
When I stopped, the lake was choppy and the waves were crashing.
So much fun!
It wasn’t until I turned around to pedal home that I realized how incredibly windy
it was this morning. Let’s just say, the ride home I didn’t feel so strong..
or pedaling so fast!!!
