Well, today was my first morning waking up in Dover, Delaware. Luckily, I have my “Dover Bike” with for the trip. So I hopped on to check out the local sunrise beauty. Today I ended in the small town of Leipsic, which is adjacent to Dover, to watch the sun rise over the Leipsic River. Beautiful clouds. Beautiful colors. And still the best way to start my day… even if it is in Delaware!!!

Big sky. Big cloud. Big color!!!

This morning started out with a pretty normal sunrise.
But then that one large cloud moved in.

… and voila’  ... sunrise magic ensued!!!
Even if it was just for a few fleeting moments.

With an amazing “double” sky show going on this morning, I needed a few good panoramic photos to capture the beauty!

And I LOVE how this one captures “both” sunrises East AND West!!!

This morning started out pretty normal. Kinda dark. Kinda plain.
Low flying clouds without my expectation of anything special this morning.

But then, the clouds blew into place & the sun was ready to pop. Timing aligned.
And out of nowhere… MAGIC HAPPENED.

And then, while everyone was looking East at the sunrise over the lake…
and by “everyone” I mean ME… there was an entirely different sky show going on West.
Big clouds were blowing in and they were oddly illuminated by the morning sun.
A second “BONUS” sunrise!!!

Another cloudy morning. But this time you could actually see the edge of the cloud front.
You know… that dotted line with triangle arrows that the weatherman shows on TV
and you never quite knew what he meant?!

Well, it’s this.
Clear on one side. Cloudy in the other. Insert dotted line here.

Meanwhile, the clouds were rolling through downtown…
taking out the tops of many of the buildings!

Even as a cropped square photo…  BEAUTIFUL.

This morning started with layers of pink. Wispy lines criss-crossing the sky.

As the sun continued to rise… the criss-cross lines opened up and switched
to a beautiful wash of white wisps across the blue sky.
