The day after Halloween. November 1st.
And the the first day Daylight Savings Time.
Excited to be out on my bike an hour earlier… so that I still had time to make the plane!

And then the sun finally popped over the horizon. A little sunrise magic.
And luckily, an hour earlier so I could enjoy it before “rushing” off to the airport!!!

Again, it’s all in how you look at it.

Another dark morning.
Another beautiful sunrise right at the very end of my ride.
For the past couple weeks, I’ve actually been sitting & waiting
for it just a few blocks from home having already ridden to Navy Pier & back.

Just sitting.
Just waiting.

Luckily, the time change is this weekend. so next week the sunrise will be an hour earlier
and I’ll be able to enjoy the sunrise… and still ride some in sunlight!!!
That’s me looking forward to the time change!!!

Windy. Blustery. Cold.
With some great calico clouds sweeping across the sky.

Did I mention COLD?… did I mention WINDY???!!!

Another clear day. Not a lot of clouds. Just a lot of orange in the sky.
OrangER than normal… if that’s even possible?!!!

Some days your whole outlook just depends on what you decide to focus on.

Vibrant colors. Saturated hues.
Deep contrasts of lights & darks.

Clouds lighting up and the sun piercing through the morning sky.

Love the silhouettes of the water intake stations off in the distance.
Plus a pretty swift breeze blowing north… it was a fun ride home!!!

Quite the dramatic morning…
what with the vibrant stripe of orange, the moody clouds and the crashing waves all around.

Still want more?!
