Another morning ride without a sunrise. At least it wasn’t raining like yesterday.
You gotta love the City’s “glow” on clouded mornings like these.

Sure, it was great to see that the rain had finally stopped after a couple days.
Great to get back out on the bike. But would it be too much to ask for a little sun too???

The bigger the sky show, the bigger the photo needs to be!

Yesterday’s ride was pretty stunning… but today was even better.
The early morning cloud-cover was full of potential. And it definitely did not disappoint.

ANOTHER SUNRISE MORNING STUNNER.

Meanwhile, back over the City’s skyline…

It was a bit windy, and chillier than I expected. But still an incredible morning bike ride.
Are we sure this is December??? Unseasonably nice weather. I’ll take it!!!

And by “sunrise” I mean clouds & fog. No sunrise this morning.
Just darkness & drama with “colored” fog over the skyline and blue clouds blowing over the Lake.

Hopped on the bike early this morning for a quick ride before the kick-off of the St. Nick’s Day Online Sale. Glad I did as it was a beautiful red sky… but sadly, no real SUNrise to speak of. Just beautiful red clouds.

A chilly & cloudy Sunday morning with nice colors… and even better reflections!!!

Further down thew road, the clouds moved in. Making the morning seem even colder… with less chance for the beautiful sunrise I was hoping for.

With such dense cloud-cover, the sun continued to “try” to make an appearance.

But then, just a quick as it blew in, the clouds blew out a bit. Leaving some patches of clear sky.

And with those patches of clear sky came some incredible contrasts & reflections over the Lake… err, well… actually this is a reflection over a large flooded portion of the beach. But at this point, it might as well be the Lake, right?

As the morning co tinued, the clouded drama kept getting better & better. Love the sweeping white “angular” clouds with the dark puffy one floating in front. Let alone the wonderful reflections in the water. Mesmerizing.

And then the clouds took over again… and back to that chilly feeling.
