The morning started out with a beautiful splash of color. All too soon the color dissipated and faded. I was hoping for a resurgence of color, but we never quite got it.

The clouds were quickly replaced as a crazy wave of fog enveloped the City. It was pretty cool… and a little tough to see too far ahead of you! Including the new Ferris Wheel being assembled at Navy Pier!

While we’ve been enjoying a bit of a warm spell, this morning’s damp coolness caught me a little off-guard… and a little chilly without all of my layers on. But worth it… still pretty amazing!

The morning bike ride started out with another BIG cloud hovering low. Luckily, the wind blew it out pretty quick so we got a bit of a pastel sunrise… before the next wave of clouds blew in for the rest of the day.

That one big cloud blowing through this morning requires one big photo!

With a warming trend passing through, this morning was beautiful. It felt so good not have all the clothing layers on. Still a bit “breezy”… and by breezy, I mean WINDY!! And don’t even mention that one big cloud blowing in!!

A quiet morning along the lakefront.
A cool breeze blowing through and some gentle waves splashing along the shoreline.

Chilly, but sunny. With a cool breezy blowing across the Lake, it was nice to see the sun pop over the horizon as the clouds wisped across the sky.

Fun to play with the frames “hanging out” at Berger Park along the Lake.

And the perfect chance to “frame” the sunrise just right!

After yesterday’s amazing warm temps, we were back this morning with a chill in the air.
Chill & LOT of clouds. Great colors on the horizon as the clouds continued to blow through.

Kinda breezy this morning… with one crazy cool cloud blowing through the City.

Meanwhile, over the Lake, the clouds were adding a moody tough to the sunrise!
