Lots of clouds. Lots of color. Another beautiful sunrise bike ride. Although it seems to be getting chillier every day… might be time to pull out the winter gloves!!!

This morning was definitely a “treat” with candy-colored calico skies. Sure, it started out incredibly dark… and windy… but the “trick” got better as the sun came up and it turned into a tailwind all the way home!!!

My morning ride started out dark, grey and windy. But then, for a fleeting moment, we had this incredible glaring splash of fiery color low across the sky… and then back to grey for the rest of the day!

So the morning started pretty crisp & clear. Just a layer of low-flying clouds. Luckily, as the morning progressed, the clouds moved in and created a vibrant layer of sunrise color!!!

The waves were crashing this morning… yet not everyone was happy to see them. Apparently there was a “fatality” along the way. Bad timing. Tragic & beautiful… as the sunrise lit up the monarch and the water drops that took it down!

A beautiful morning along the lakefront. Surprisingly chilly as the waves were crashing all around. Summer is over… long sleeves & gloves are back!!!

After a few too many gray & breezy mornings, it was great to finally see the sunrise in all of its glory this morning! Beautiful colors. Incredible reflections. Finally… another great morning.
