A beautifully warm & colorful sky this morning. The clouds were there to splash the sky in reds & blues. An incredible sunrise… but then the clouds blocked the sun as it continued to rise. Still warm, but a bit cloudy.

What a difference a day makes… with calmer waters, fewer clouds and colorful skies.

Flooded beach… with a boardwalk to nowhere….

After a week of rain & storms it was so great to see the sun today.
Even if it had to be seen “between” the crashing waves!

A cloudy start to a warm day in Chicago. Unfortunately, the battle between clouds & sun didn’t play out so well… with the clouds “winning” by not allowing the sun to break through with a splash of color.

An amazing show of morning color for a few brief moments today.
Very few. Very brief… before we were plunged right back into cloudy grayness!

Spring is in the air. I can feel it. At least for today…
as it’s supposed to get down into the 20’s overnight tonight!

A cloudy start to a beautiful morning bike ride.
A little chilly, with a hint of Spring in the air.

A valiant effort this morning. With one large dark cloud moving in…
we squeaked in a smidgeon of a sunrise before gray took over for the day.
Very moody. Very dark. But VERY cool!!!

And while the battle for sky space was going on up North…
the Chicago Skyline was enjoying some clear skies…. with more clouds slowly moving in!
