Textured tiles… mini tiles kinda creating a “quilt” of sorts. Each individual tile is less than an inch square. Thanks to MKM Pottery Tools for cool handrollers that made most of these textures!

Handles attached… with plenty of time to spare before teaching class tonight!!!
This year’s Shamrock Mugs are now assembled and ready to start drying!
Wow… look at me way ahead of schedule!!! HA!!!
And in time for another Mugshot Monday!

Lots of shamrocks popping up in the studio today! Well on my way to this year’s batch of Shamrock Mugs!!! Trimming & handles coming soon…

With just about a month until St. Patrick’s Day…
gotta get stamping if we’re going to have mugs in time!!!

Textured tiles now accented with colored slips & drying in a plastic grid to avoid warping! Can’t wait to fire these to see the colors pop… and quick… “4×4” is just two weeks away! Yikes!!!

Some early morning textured tiles in the works… getting ready for “4×4 : FOUR MAKERS” which is just about two weeks away! A mix of textures using my own handmade stamps & some using my favorite MKM Pottery Tools handrollers!

You know how I love a good holiday… and today is NATIONAL PIZZA DAY!!!
And I woulda been remiss if I didn’t celebrate with a couple slices!!!

So after I did my “not-so-basic bowls” demo last Tuesday night… I still felt like they could use a little sumthin’-sumthin’! So I did a bit more stamping & texturing… as you know I come from the school of MORE IS MORE!!!

There’s a little something new brewing in my studio… after a night of playing with textured rollers last night. I have a loose “plan” here… we’ll see how it comes together?! Hopefully well… and in time for the “4×4 : FOUR MAKERS” show the end of this month!!! Fingers crossed…

My latest production round was a group of “rounds”… the top part of ikebana vases coming together. Stepping it up so that I’m ready when the Spring flowers start popping up… just some positive thinking… or, wishful thinking!!!
