Fresh from the soda kiln… just in time for this weekend’s HINSDALE FINE ARTS FAIR. Sweet little oval vases for flowers, pens on your desk, utensils in your kitchen or even to hold your remote controls!!! So many uses… but a limited quantity, so come early!

Celebrating another MUGSHOT MONDAY with a bunch of new stamped & soda-fired mugs! There’s a whole new batch to prep, price & pack for next weekend at the HINSDALE FINE ART FAIR.

While the Schaumburg Prairie Arts Festival was washed out today, at least my booth flowers still look good! And as things would have it, about an hour after I got home, the rain stopped & the sun came out with blue skies & fluffy white clouds!!!

Still prepping, pricing & packing!!! Trying to get everything ready for the SCHAUMBURG PRAIRIE ARTS FESTIVAL this weekend. Working in the basement finishing up these hybrid mugs… and splitting them up so I’m sure I have enough for each of my next three shows over the next three weekends!!!

With three art fairs over the next three weekends, I knew that I needed to really “bulk-up” the inventory in advance. So I’ve been busily working in my studio trying to make LOTS of pots! I hope I have plenty of “hybrid mugs” for the three shows. Tomorrow I gotta start prepping, pricing & packing… dividing the inventory in three… something for everyone at every show!!!

Another flash of color with some pretty flowers in one of my stamped & soda-fired vases. Just “fulfilling the destiny” of any good vase on another Floral Friday!

I hate when I come home and find broken flowers in my front garden… presumably from someone, or someone’s kids, or someone’s dog…. trouncing through the flowers I’m trying to grow out there. Luckily, I have plenty of mini vases to give them a little “extra life” after being broken off the plant.
