Rusty details… structure behind the rocks to help keep the lakefront in the same place. A little rusted anti-erosion plan!
Well, THIS can’t be good. Sure the sunrise was beautiful… but this was a surprising “find” along the way… with a burnt rubber stench! A new & unique kind of “roadkill” for my morning bike ride! Just hoping everyone was okay… and pretty glad that it wasn’t MINE!!!
Gotta love a good collection. I always love to see what people collect and how they display them. Like this amazing collection of vintage pulleys hanging on the garden trellis railing in Gerry & Rosene’s back yard. And you know… rusty metal & weathered wood. What’s not to like?!!!
One of the “benefits” of Farm Day is all of the great rusty metal all around… old tools, old barns… and these amazing twisted, mangled and rusted culvert pipes!!! Gotta love the rust!!!
Oh, the things you find at the Flea Market…
cool things, vintage things, dusty things and all the things nightmares are made of!!! Too much fun yesterday at the Third Sunday Flea Market in Bloomington, Illinois.
Quick sights at the Montrose “L” stop yesterday as I was headed downtown for the ONE OF A KIND SHOW. Love the geometry, the typography, the rusty metal and all things industrial.
And a little “leftovers” from yesterday’s snow fall…
While pedaling downtown this morning, I found some great rusty metal & concrete “urban decay” highlighted in the morning sun. And you know how much I LOVE rusty metal!!!
