Another batch of Christmas ornaments headed into the bisque kiln… and then some quick glaze accents and into next weekend’s soda kiln!

Working on another batch of wheelthrown Christmas ornaments… throwing off-the-hump again. Waiting for these to dry-up just a bit before I stamp some patterns on them.

It’s early October… but it’s never too early to make another batch of holiday star ornaments, right?!

And while the pumpkins are “quick-drying”… I decided I had time for a few more pieces of kiln filler. Just a quick batch of textured stars to become Christmas ornaments after soda firing this weekend! Never too soon, right?!

With the recent cold-spell & dusting of April snow, it seemed oddly appropriate to crank-out another batch of Christmas ornaments!!! I love making them… but I LOVE Summer more!!! I’m kinda done with the cold weather.

As part of last week’s class demo of “throwing-off-the-hump” we tackled a few Christmas ornaments. It’s never too soon, right?!

So much fun to see that one of my Christmas ornaments has found a place of honor (and glamour) in someone’s house. Apparently it’s become part of the BLING year-round!!! Thanks for sharing Jacob!
