I got a wonderful e-mail this morning from my friend Sarah Chapman.
Celebrating the holidays with her version of a Christmas tree. So cool…
and pretty sweet to be the “featured” artist!!!

Heyro there Mr. Jackson!
Here are a few shots of our new tree filled with all of your ornaments from 2014. And a close up of some of my favorites including the Gingerbread man wearing pants! He really should be wearing shorts since you made him! I love them all….

However… it looks like her tree could use a few MORE ornaments?!
Which is good news… as Sarah and I have recently decided to do our Monthly Ornament Challenge once again this coming year. So get ready for another new ornament every month through 2016!!!

Gotta start thinking. Gotta start sketching.
Gotta start planning… a lot of new ornaments to come…

and adding more to the Tired Of Shlepping Sale shelves!
And we’re marking down a LOT of holiday ornaments.
Originally $15, $20 or even $25 each… on sale tomorrow only for $5 each!!!
Snowflakes, gingerbread men, stars, fortune cookies and even some Ho’s!!!
Here’s a quick glimpse of the ornaments I just now put on the back porch…
because I’m just plain tired of shlepping them around!

A quick layer loaded into a bisque kiln.
Rapid replenishment for my Second Holiday Home Show on Saturday, December 12th.

Thrown & stamped Saturday… Trimmed & handled Sunday… Drying & into a kiln Monday.

Unloading the kiln is always a weird mix of excitement.
A fun treasure hunt to see everything coming out. But kind of a hurry to get it all done. Unloading all of the pots, packing them up, cleaning the kiln, scraping the shelves, re-kiln washing, sweeping up and all of the other “glamorous parts” of the process that no one thinks about. So many of my pieces go straight from the kiln and into a box to get them home.

Pretty excited about the latest batch of spoons & ornaments.
I’ll have time to really look a them later… for now it’s time to clean & scrape!!!

One of my students just stopped by with a sweet treat to make my Glazing Day go better. So festive now with peppermint & ornaments!!! Thank you Catherine.

One of my students has been “bitten” by the holiday ornament bug. Throwing them off the hump & adding a handbuilt top the same way I do. I love when students follow along and try the class demo, embrace it and begin to make it their own. And here she is now making her own batch of beautiful, wheelthrown ornaments. Well done Marni!
