With a few snow flurries coming down, so far no accumulation.
Just wet pavement and a lot of colorful heaves coming off the trees.
“Pretty Fall” might end today.

Excited to see that some of the Fall leaves have survived the recent rains & wind…
not so sure they’re gonna make it through tonight’s predicted snowfall???

Protected by a wall, it was fun to find a small patch of colorful fall flowers still hanging on.
With the cold weather moving in, this might be the last of them?!

Sure, I may be firing the soda kiln all day today… but that doesn’t mean
I can’t step outside for a breath of fresh air & nature’s glory.

Blue skies. Yellow leaves.
And the inevitable bare branches not too far behind.

It’s November First and were surrounded by beautiful Fall colors.
A great way to kick-off a new month.

With a lack of color in the morning sunrise, I was pleased to find all of the color instead along the bike trail. The Fall foliage is just starting to pop in vibrant colors. These cool evenings are sure to bring this along quickly in the next week or so.

So the sunrise may have been a bit underwhelming yesterday, but the waves were crashing and making some cool patterns along the breakwater walls.

So I had to go downtown to renew my Driver’s License today. As I was leaving I noticed the Farmer’s Market across the street at Daley Plaza. So I just “had to” stop by for some Fall fun at the Farmer’s Market. Who doesn’t like fresh vegetables, colorful flowers, LOTS of pumpkins & gourds… and “quite possibly” some pies, cookies and other yummy baked goods!!!

A beautiful day for “playing hooky” and pedaling north. Nothing better than a quick stop off at a small, secluded little stretch of beachfront to dip your toes in the water!
