Some of the brightest flowers along the lake… more crabapple trees in bloom.
But this dark magenta color is CRAZY!!! So vibrant it almost doesn’t look natural?!

A beautiful evening for stroll along the Chicago River… before heading back to the studio for the night. Blue skies, wispy clouds & warm temps… gotta get outside to play once & awhile!!!

A little early morning sun illuminating another Spring tree in bloom along the lakefront. So many pretty trees blooming as a gift from Mother Nature.

In between the clouds & the gusty winds, I managed to get a fun bike ride in this afternoon. A beautiful day with a lot of Spring flowers all over on the trees along the lakefront bike trail. It was pretty… and a pretty challenging ride!!!

With a crazy warm forecast today… a bunch of snowdrop flowers!
Thankfully with no snow!

Crusty rusty metal & mossy green lichens. What’s not to like?!
I love when Mother Nature takes over and does her own thing!

Don’t get me wrong… it’s still chilly in Chicago.
And we had another hard frost overnight giving everything a beautiful coating of winter sparkle.

It was so great to see a bit of sunshine early this morning… it’s been far too long!!!
Feels like weeks of gloomy gray days. I’m over it… and ready for Spring!!!
