So this first “batch” of pottery is all separated, photographed, numbered and ready-to-go… mugs, bowls, vases, pitchers, teapots, berry bowls and more! Looks like my buddy is kicking off his birthday morning with a morning FaceTime with some of his kids… and a cup of Joe in one of my mugs!!! Looks like a great way to start the day!!!

So today I’m taking over the Lillstreet Ceramics INSTAGRAM feed!!! Nothing too crazy, but I’ll be sharing a bunch of pictures throughout the day… many of them from HOME!!! With this shelter-at-home thing still going on, we’ve all been spending a lot more time at home looking at our own stuff. So I thought I’d share some of my pottery collection… like these mugs that live in my kitchen! Please disregard the stacking… there’s a LOT more mugs than these shelves allow me to display. Plus, you would think with all the free-time we’ve all had lately, I would have found time to dust the shelves?! Nope.

adding handles tonight while self-isolating again in my studio!
It’s kinda weird working in my studio these days. I’m so used to having more people around to play with & to chat with. And these days… there’s NO ONE HERE!!! Kinda scary. Kinda weird!!!

Just a quick “tour” while I was stamping my latest batch of mugs… showing the plain mug after throwing, after being stamped, as well as the handmade clay stamp that did the hard work! I was just there pressing…

So for now they’re all stamped and under wraps for the night. I will most likely trim them tomorrow night, and then try to get handles on the on Monday… what a great way to celebrate another Mugshot Monday than by making more mugs!!!

Looks like my friend Tracy found the perfect mug to warm up her morning Stroopwafel. Not a hundred percent sure what that is… but it looks pretty yummy. Kinda flat for a waffle?… and missing the syrup!!! But I might need to try these out when we’re released from captivity!

Even though it wasn’t Wheaties… it still looks like it was a Breakfast Of Champions down in Peoria for my friends Gerry & Rosene! Enjoying their morning routine before heading out to work in their amazing garden! Trying to keep a little bit of “normal” in their everyday lives!
