Apparently it’s tea-time on a chilly Monday afternoon. Looks like Rachel is enjoying her new mug from this weekend’s sale with some Benner Tea… staying warm & cozy on a Mugshot Monday. Thanks for taking time out & sharing your photos Rachel.

You can always tell if it was a successful show based on the number of hot apple cider mugs are in the dishwasher… and how many times you need to run it!!!

After years… literally YEARS… of trying to get Don to give up his jumbo Pyrex measuring cup for his tea cup… yes, he drank his tea out of a measuring cup!!!… my cousin Kim bought her boyfriend a large mug of mine today! And it looks like he might just be willing to “convert” to pottery! Sure, it was supposed to be a surprise Christmas gift for Don… but I guess Kim couldn’t keep her own secret?!!!

This week, my Tuesday night Beginning Wheel class finished their Fall session… and we played a game!!! A little white elephant trading-stealing-sharing kind of game where they each brought in one of their handmade mugs to add to the game… and they went home with someone else’s masterpiece mug! I brought in this stamped & tenmoku glazed mug… and after some “stealing” went home with this red & white beauty by Karin. A great way to finish off this session with a great group of students!!

And I still have more if there’s any extra shelf space???… plus, enough to replenish throughout the weekend. Plenty of mugs for everyone… as they make the perfect holiday gift!!!

Celebrating another MUGSHOT MONDAY with a quick glimpse at some of the new mugs that came out of the soda kiln last week! These and many more will be ready for my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW... as we’ll start with well over a HUNDRED mugs to kick-off the Home Show!

So now the stamps have their inlaid glazed… and a liner glaze too! The outside stays basically unglazed as the soda-firing process will finish & “glaze” the outsides for me! Now to start wadding all of them…
