Loving the beautiful mosaics downtown at the Gallery 37 Gallery… made by the talented kids from After School Matters. Quite impressive… beautiful colors, striking patterns & great craftsmanship. Keep up the good work kids!!!

Late afternoon sun shining on the Lillsteet Bricolage Mandala…
and I think I see “something†familiar?… hey, that’s my vase!!!

Retro cool vintage decor everywhere you look at Lombardino’s…
like being locked in a time capsule. We were there just for some homemade ice cream,
but eye-candy was pretty sweet too! We each had a flight of three scoops… chocolate, salted caramel and sour cream flavored ice cream! Yes, SOUR CREAM!!!…. kinda tasted like New York style cheesecake!
But I couldn’t decide… if a wall is tiled and painted… is it a mosaic or a mural???

The sun finally came out today!!!
And a new garden of flowers has started blooming in the back stairwell at Lillstreet Art Center… thanks to the mosaics master Rochelle Borrett and the kids of ArtReach Chicago.

And still a work in progress…
