My condo building has been tagged.
Usually that means some crazy graffiti has been sprayed all over the walls.
But this time, it’s SO much better!
One “happy tag” on my tiled window on the corner of my building,
and another one on the back courtyard gate.
Nice to be appreciated by “someone.”

So now that they have their mugs assembled, it’s time for my Pottery Throwdown students to embellish them. So last night towards the end of class, the next challenge was revealed. They now need to take their four matching mugs and decorate them to represent, signify, resemble, interpret or otherwise show some influence by The Four Seasons. They have until class next Thursday to “finish them up” and bring them to class as they’re drying to greenware!
It’s completely up to them how they approach the project…
stylized & graphic?… sculptural?… illustrative?… carved?… stamped?… sgraffito?… painted?…
or otherwise “naturally” inspired!!!
Normal is boring. Be different. Be unique. Stand out from the crowd.

Okay, so every year I add another creature to The Ghouls Collection… with the “big reveal” being at ART IN THE BARN. Each character is a Limited Edition of forty. And when they’re gone, they’re gone! And just in case you’re wondering… here’s the doodle that inspired this year’s addition!

My friends Gerry & Rosene are going through a lot of construction at home after some storm damage, and today made everything a lot better when they made a lemon verbena cake with lemon frosting! Which I’m SURE was so much better with fresh lemons hand-squeezed on a handmade citrus juicer!!!
With so much craziness going on in Washington DC these days…
what with Donald, Donald Jr., my “girlfriend” Kellyanne, and Vladimir…
this one made me laugh out loud when I saw it on my Instagram Feed!
But then I found out that my “girlfriend” is already married…
and this kinda made me laugh too!
Spirals, Circles and Parallelograms… oh my.
Kinda dreary today.
But still fun geometry & grids of rusty metal while playing downtown today!
