Sparkle. Jolly. Twinkle. Jingley.
Perfect Christmas lights for another TEXTURE TUESDAY!
Last night was filled with magical lights & festive fun as we strolled through Lincoln Park ZOOLIGHTS with friends. Bright, sparkly & just enough sensory-overload to kick-off the holiday season!
A pretty chill night… time to turn on the Christmas lights!
Sit back & relax… ’tis the season.
And thanks Laurie for the photo… your tree looks magical all lit up like that!
After the first HOLIDAY HOME SHOW, I could tell that a lot of people liked the Christmas trees with pierced holes for candles or fairy lights. So, that’s what I’m making more of… and today was the day to trim & drill holes!!!
With my second HOLIDAY HOME SHOW just two weeks away… I’m pretty sure I can crank out another batch of Christmas Trees! They were a big hit at the first show, so my inventory is very low! But give me some time… and I’ll have a whole new forest of Christmas Trees WITH STARS!!!… as they seemed to be a big hit! So if you missed them the first time, never fear… there will be more for the second show on December 16th & 17th at my place. Mark your calendars!
Hard to believe, but it’s time to pull out your advent calendars and taking care of Day One! My Grandma Kitty made these calendars for all of her grandkids. Such a great heirloom bringing great memories for the upcoming holiday season!
So I started my Thanksgiving at my Dad’s place at Friendship Village… with his girlfriend Bonnie!
We had a great visit… but nothing “special” in the pumpkin pie category!
But then I drove down to Central Illinois for another “Friendsgiving” where the dessert spread was VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! With a LOT of homemade goodies… including pumpkin pie, cheesecake, apple pie, cookies & two “chess pies” that I had never had before. They were extra tasty… I’m sure because they were baked in a handmade ceramic pie dish! Thanks Kel & Kelly for hosting… and for sending me home with some sweet leftovers!
Wishing you a day full of special moments with family & friends…
and all of the pumpkin pie you could hope for!
Morning light streaming through the dining room windows… shedding light on lots of pottery all prepped & ready for this weekend’s HOLIDAY HOME SHOW. And that’s just one wall… it’s everywhere in every room! So stop by my condo today or tomorrow from 10:00am-6:00pm! Time to start your holiday gift shopping!!!
