We had a wonderful day Saturday at Six Flags Great America for their first-ever
“Holiday In The Park.”
Sure, it might have been a bit chilly when flying on the high-speed roller coasters, but great with enough layers & freshly-toasted s’mores!!! It was remarkably empty during the daytime hours so there were no lines for any rides! Plus a beautiful sunset. It wasn’t until the sun went down and the place lit up with crazy cool Christmas lights everywhere – many LED displays synchronized to the music!!! Such a great way to kick-off the holiday weekend!!!

A wonderful night kicking off the holidays with a movie double-feature holiday sing-a-long at the Music Box Theater. Two Christmas movie classics, buttery popcorn, plenty of caroling, ugly sweaters (not me) and even Santa leading the sing-a-long!!!
Oh yeah…. “White Christmas” and “It’s A Wonderful Life” in case you were wondering!

I may be stuck in the studio glazing tonight… but why not be a bit festive at the same time?! So I’m “celebrating” with a Christmas classic… or so I’ve been told… my first time watching “The Santa Clause.”

HUGE THANKS to everyone who came to celebrate the holidays at MY HOLIDAY HOME SHOWS! It’s been a great kick-off to the holiday season. We had a wonderful weekend with lots of great people stopping through – tons of customers, friends, students & more!!! It was a wonderful end to my art fair season… and now I need to switch focus to my own personal Christmas as I’ve done NO SHOPPING at all yet!!! Yikes!
