Tonight I was “snacking” in the studio and came upon the biggest one ever!!!
It was like I had won the Marshmallow Lottery!!!

Sure, “Pie Day” may have passed over a week ago… but after that wonderful, crust-filled holiday, and a special request from my friend & incredible glass artist Amy Lemaire, I’ve decided to make some new pie plates!!! Here’s the first batch – stamped & trimmed.

Hard to believe that our ten-week pottery class session has already come to an end.
Seems like it just started???

We celebrated tonight with a great potluck & bowl exchange game. So much fun with a wonderful group of students this go-round. For the potluck I brought three of my favorite things… chocolate, caramel & cheesecake!!!

Okay, so we’re off to a good start… two slices for “breakfast” already!!!
Lemon Meringue AND Mint Chocolate Chip. But who’s counting???

But seriously, there’s a LOT more Pi out there for us today!!!

Who knew it was a holiday???… I would have celebrated with another package of cookies! Although Imm sure I have had MORE than my share lately… and that’s got to stop!!!

Apparently today is National Oreo Day to celebrate the cookie originally be released back in 1912. Who knew???

For our “sugar fix” at last night’s class, I was surprised to find flavored Chips Ahoy cookies?! Who knew? So we tried Root Beer Float & Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream flavors.

“Should have stuck with the Oreos!!!”

Surprisingly, it was Taylor that had them, and NOT me!!!
Although in hindsight… I think I made a mistake!!!

In the category of “Never go grocery shopping while you’re hungry”… oops!

Okay, for the record… I don’t know that we can quite call it a “spread.”
Especially when you eat it right off the spoon!
And it was yummy… I’m just sayin’…
