Celebrating some Fat Tuesday fun with a plate full of paczkis in my pottery class tonight. Any excuse to get ’em all sugared up!!!

Looks like it’s that time of the year again!
My favorite Girl Scout is gearing up for another season of selling her cookie for of “crack” on the streets! Caroline is looking adorable… and the cookies look pretty amazing in their special cookie presentation bowl!!!

Here’s an amazing video I just found that combines four of my favorite things…
beautiful flowers, crazy creativity, incredible craftsmanship and JELL-O.
Okay, so maybe it’s some kind of special gelatin, but I still dare you to be the first one to take a bite!!!

So it appears to be a layer of clear gelatin in a form pan. Then they’re injecting something (colored gelatin?) into the base. The result is amazing!!!

The new Cinnamon Bun flavor was surprisingly yummy!!!

Chocolate. Marshmallow. Graham Cracker. A yummy trifecta!!!

But look what I found at DMK Burger Bar on Navy Pier this week…

A S’mores Milkshake!!!… with extra chocolate of course.
Chopped up marshmallows & graham cracker bits inside.
And actual toasted marshmallows on top!!! Whoo-hoo!!!

My cousin Kim christened my “pie plate prototype” with a homemade apple pie this weekend. Looks pretty yummy… and the pie is already half gone. So I guess that means the pie plate works, huh?! More to come…

Now that’s some THICK bacon!!!
Now we just need to cover it with brown sugar & cinnamon!!!!
Getting ready for yet another holiday get-together later this afternoon.

Just a couple festive desserts from our family Christmas. So fun to use my new oven to bake some goodies… like a flourless chocolate cake & magic cookie bars (both gluten-free for my sister). Needless to say… they’re all gone already!!!
