Fresh from the kiln. Fresh from the garden.
Thanks to Adam & Kristin for the yummy tomatoes to fill my cute little green bowl with a split-rim and dented-details!

I mean, if there’s a National Holiday… you’ve gotta celebrate, right?!
Well today is NATIONAL AVOCADO DAY!!! And what better way to celebrate than with a big pile of nachos from Big Star Wrigleyville?!!! Yum!

Yep, I’ll be pedaling that off tomorrow morning!!!

A handmade pie plate never looked quite so healthy… of course I’d prefer PIE!!! Who wouldn’t?! But these fresh veggies look pretty darn tasty too… of course I accredit that to the pottery, not that healthy stuff!

I mean, if you’re going to show off some of my handmade bowls… THIS is how you do it!!! Not only did they put ice cream in them, but also some homemade rhubarb crisp!!! I can practically taste it from here!!! Thanks for sharing Keith & Julie… next time you make this I might just need to make a quick road trip?!!!

Another healthy lunch up in Stevens Point… loving the colorful mix of healthy!!! With a base of spiraled zucchini. Who knew you even could do that… spiraling?… I kinda thought zucchini only came as bread??? Beautifully contrasted against one of my bright blue bowls with a wavy rim! Thanks again for sharing Kristy!

When the fruit trees start making fruit, you’ve got to grab them when you can before the birds get ’em… and hopefully there’s plenty to make PIE!!! My cousin Kim grabbed a full bounty of cherries from her yard and made this beautiful cherry pie! It looks AMAZING… and I’m sure it tasted even better!!! Thanks for sharing your photos Kimberley Sue… but next time, let’s share the pie too!!!

Sweet little jar sitting in the kitchen. Love the combination of cinnamon sticks & cutlery! Nice combo… thanks for sharing your photos! Keep sending them in. I love seeing my pottery actually being used in people’s homes!!!

Looks like a colorful mix for lunch… not a lot of stamping in these classic bowls, but a whole lot of healthy! Looks like very vermicelli… and a very hungry Matt! Thanks for sharing!!!

After my first “post-quarantine” Farmer’s Market yesterday… masks, sanitizing spray when entering, contactless shopping, social distancing & more sanitizing spray when leaving… I found myself with a couple new cheeses & these Ranier Cherries! So I had to clean them well… and what better way than in a nice handmade berry bowl!!!

If you need a new berry bowl, there are a few still left in my Online Pottery Shop… click here… http://firewhenreadypottery.com/my-online-pottery-store/

Just hoping that everyone is having a “sweet” Fourth of July today! I’ve got my red, white & blue going already… feeling very festive!!! Just be safe, be smart & be wise today as we all celebrate from a safe distance today!

Okay, so I’m pretty sure these OREO’s were meant to celebrate the Olympics this summer… but we all know THAT’s not going to happen any time soon! So I guess I’m glad that they’ve decided to “release” them under the guise of Fourth of July… instead of trying to keep them in the warehouse until the Olympics hopefully come back next summer!!!
