After a fun day at MAURIE’S SUGAR SHOPPE last Wednesday, I came home with a bunch of “sweet” snacks for myself & to share… caramel apples, chocolate fudge, caramel bites, FrankenPops, and more! Although some of them didn’t even make it halfway home!

I mean, homemade candy from Maurie’s makes for a great late-night road trip snack… burp!!!

While hanging out at MAURIE’S SUGAR SHOPPE all day Wednesday, we sold candy, caramel apples & pottery…. but still found time to make some fun Halloween treats in their candy kitchen!!! We had a great time making green FrankenPops, orange Pumpkin Pops, Zombie Krispy Treats, and even a Werewolf Pop!!!… and “maybe” doing some quality control testing along the way!

I’ll be doing a “sweet” little pottery POP-UP SHOP today at Maurie’s Sugar Shoppe in Eureka, Illinois until 7:00pm… lots of pottery surrounded by some of the best homemade treats like fudge & caramel apples I’ve ever had. And trust me, I’ve had a lot in my day!

Shhh… don’t tell anyone, ‘cuz we’re not supposed to have shared snacks in class any more… darn Covid precautions!

One way to make your special day even more special is FREE ICE CREAM!!! Sure, it might be a lot… but no one ever said you couldn’t go to more than one location, right?! I called this “dinner” on my way to the studio to teach class tonight… I feel sorry for my students when all this sugar kicks in… this might be a bumpy ride!!!
