She paints AND bakes cookies too!!!

So funny… watching a cake decorating contest show on The Food Network… and they just used a Brent Potter’s Wheel as the turntable for a piece of their cake showpiece! Brilliant… apparently not just for clay any more!

Looks like Kristy is kickin’ back on a chilly Sunday with her homemade comfort food in some of my handmade pottery bowls! Thanks for sharing your tummy-warming meal Kristy!

You gotta love when your friends come to the Holiday Home Show bearing gifts… and super sweet gifts at that!!! Keith & Julie brought me a yummy goodie bag from their candy store in Eureka, Illinois!!! Homemade fudge & marshmallow s’mores pops from MAURIE’S SUGAR SHOPPE!!! Let me just say… the goodie bag is a little “lighter” than it was when they dropped it off… burp!

Just spending a little time this morning restocking & replenishing shelves for Day Two of my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW… including the “Tired Of Shlepping Sale” shelves on the back porch! Don’t forget, we’re open again today from 10:00am-6:00pm!

And let me just say one more time… MAURIE’S SUGAR SHOPPE in Eureka, Illinois has the best handmade caramel apples ever!!! If you’re anywhere nearby in Central Illinois be sure to stop by… but do it quick… caramel apple season is coming to an end soon!
