Looks like these bananas might be one-step away from becoming banana bread?! I wonder if you could bake it in a stamped pie dish instead of a bread pan??? I mean, they’re already in there, right?

Okay, so I might not have been a whiz in college when I took my “Thinking Logically” class. However… stick with me here. So when I got my first vaccine, I followed it with a trip to Lickity Split across the street for some yummy frozen custard… and felt no pain & no after-effects. So after my second shot… I did the same, with the same results. No pain, no nothing. So it only goes to “reason” that after my BOOSTER shot tonight I had to go back to Lickity Split purely for “medicinal purposes.” Hoping that maybe frozen custard is a preventative “cure” for any vaccination pain or after-effects. Fingers crossed, right?!

Doesn’t hurt any either that they still have my monthly flavor favorite… frozen egg nog custard, caramel sauce & ginger snaps all blended together! Yum… for “medicinal purposes”, right?!!!

Looks like Kristy is kicking off the New Year with a yummy bundt cake… lemon & blueberry!!! Of course it doesn’t hurt any to put a homemade cake on a handmade platter!!! A beautiful way to kick-off the New Year!

And here’s a fun New Year’s Resolution for YOU… when you use my pottery at home, be sure to send me a picture so I can share it with everyone here!… gary@firewhenreadypottery.com

Appears that Diane is still enjoying her new handmade dinnerware… and celebrating the New Year with a great brunch spread. The fun of the holidays continues… and it looks like Diane is really loving the surprise pottery Christmas Gift she got from her husband Jim!!!

Great visit & great cake! Coincidence, I don’t know?

But it’s always extra “sweet” when your friends bake a chocolate carrot cake with raspberry filling & an amazing chocolate cream cheese frosting in anticipation of your arrival! Oh sure… the plate ain’t too shabby either!

My friend Kristen made her traditional Christmas morning strata in one of my large casserole dishes… according to Kristen…
“Made my Christmas strata in the casserole and the proportions came out exactly like for a 9×13, but so much prettier!”

And what would Christmas be with only one dessert???…
so I just HAD to make TWO!!! Right?
A batch of homemade decadent chocolate brownies on a handmade textured platter. Seems like the perfect combination to me!!!

When tasked with bringing a dessert for Christmas… there are certain expectations. I mean, who wants a store-bought dessert when I can make this for my family??? Yummy vanilla cheesecake with chocolate & cherry accents. Oh yes, and some hot fudge to put over it all just in case you want even more!!!
As you know… MORE IS MORE… especially at Christmas!

Adding some last-minute festive touches to my Christmas treats. Not surprising… for our family gathering, I’m in charge of Jell-O & dessert. Two of my favorites!!!
Yes, I have the palate of a four-year old!!!
