Well, my “Birthday Week” started with a Marathon… and ended with this yummy monstrosity!!! Yummy ice cream & hot fudge at Carl’s Ice Cream with friends!!! It’s been a great week!!!

Someone brought the teacher an apple! Well, several of them!!! One of my Tuesday night students brought me a bag of apples freshly picked from her brother’s apple orchard up in northern Michigan. So nice, so yummy… and Jen definitely got an A+ for Tuesday night class!!! Thanks Jen!!!

It’s been a great “run” of fun this birthday weekend… all pun intended… with special THANKS to everyone for the great Birthday Wishes yesterday to help celebrate the big day! After a Sunday run with bananas & Gatorade… I much prefer yesterday with huge cookies & ice cream!!!

Today is NATIONAL FLUFFERNUTTER DAY!!!
A childhood favorite… and we can consider this as “carbo-loading,” right?!

Typically I feel that food always tastes better when served in handmade pottery… or at least “looks better” in pottery. But this time?… not so sure?! I’m glad it’s in one of my bowls, but personally not a fan of liver & onions! Thanks for trying though Kristy… hope YOU guys enjoyed it!!!

My friends Keith & Julie recently moved for central Illinois to Ohio… and it looks like they finally got around to unboxing some of their pottery collection! What better way to “feel at home” than with a freshly-baked pineapple upside-down cake, fresh-cut roses from the garden & the warmth of a candle… and some of my stamped pottery to pull it all together!

Looks like Rhonda’s little puppy is going to be enjoying his food & water more than normal these days… with a set of custom dog food bowls. He’s got four of them… some even if two are in the dishwasher, he can still eat & drink in style!
Sure, I coulda gotten some fresh vegetables… but instead I picked up a nice chunk of bleu cheese at the Farmer’s Market on my way home today! Looks like a great “appetizer”… yum, my favorite!!!

Sweet treat when one of your favorite students stops by your studio with a sweet snack while I was working late last night… I mean, who doesn’t want a chocolate chip s’mores cookie?! Thanks Katie!!!

When Pam first sent me this photo of her breakfast… and her red spatula in one of my spoon rests… I must admit I thought the bowl at the top was the makings of chocolate chip cookie batter!!! But then I read her note… and it’s her dog’s breakfast in the making… kibble, NOT chocolate chips!!! Shoot…
