Just to keep a good tradition going… I once again stopped off at Lickity Split tonight after getting another Covid Booster shot. I mean, I’ve done it each time for the first three Covid shots… and NEVER felt a single thing or any soreness. So I think I’m onto something… a little Lickity Split after any vaccine purely for medicinal purposes!!!

This weekend is MUD & METAL : My Second Holiday Home Show! So if you stop by my place this weekend, you can get handmade pottery & jewelry… but also for the first time HANDMADE COOKIES!!! Yes, Amy Taylor has not only been making a lot of beautiful jewelry for this show… but she’s also started a new cookie company “TWO TOUGH COOKIES”!!! So she’ll be bringing some of her yummy treats this weekend for people to purchase… and a few samples for us all to enjoy as well.

The perfect chance to pair homemade treats with handmade pottery to make a perfect holiday combo gift for that special someone on your holiday list… even if that “special someone” is yourself!!!

Festive fun & holiday treats at tonight’s LILLSTREET HOLIDAY PARTY! Sure, some treats were more”festive”… but I went with a true American classic! I just “fancied” them up a bit in one of my handmade bowls! Thanks to everyone who came out tonight to visit with the artists of Lillstreet.

Looks like Kristy is enjoying the last of her Thanksgiving leftovers… some green bean casserole & cribbage to complete her night! Yes, even leftovers taste better in handmade pottery!

Looks like Rachel has been making a yummy pot of warm soup and a chilly & damp Sunday afternoon. Luckily, she has a new stamped & soda-fired spoon rest to keep her stove clean!

Sure, we had pumpkin pie & my cheesecake for dessert yesterday… but who doesn’t want some chocolate brownies too?! My niece Taylor made a batch of brownies to add to the celebration yesterday… just one more yummy platter on the table!

… which I’m sure won’t survive the rest of the evening!!!

Since I know someone else is bringing the pumpkin pie… I decided to go with a classic cheesecake… with a little splash of chocolate & cherries! I hope they like it? And again, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of you!
